Compak is proud to be the Official Grinder Sponsor for the United States Barista Championship. The competition and exhibition will be held from May 2nd to 5th in the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minnesota, USA.

This year is the 20th Annual Conference and Exhibition and the theme is “Roots,” which revisits the foundation of the specialty coffee industry: regional, independent, forward-thinking coffee companies joining together to share information, ideas and strategies, while creating a culture driven by quality. As the industry’s most hotly anticipated contest for coffeehouse professionals, the USBC encourages and recognizes achievement in the art and skill of espresso drink preparation and service. During the competition, the nation’s best baristas create some of the world’s finest coffee concoctions by preparing and serving 12 orders - four espressos, four cappuccinos and four original signature drinks - all within a 15-minute timeframe.
